Frequently Asked Questions . . .

1. What is available for my children?

You will find a terrific children's ministry at Living Waters. During our 9:00 and 10:30 services, we have available for children of all ages a relevant bible lesson and teaching time for your child. Nursery is available for 3 and under, and we have a dynamic youth ministry that meets on Wednesday nights.

2. What can I expect my first time?

We want you to come as you are and enjoy the meeting. Nothing is expected of our visitors, but we want them to know they are welcomed and loved by God and us. We hope you feel safe to be yourself, challenged to know God more, and empowered to live life to the fullest. Click Here for More.

3. What is expected of your members?

We want to see our members attend regularly, give generously of their tithe, talents and time and become a vital part of Living Waters. Connect With Us.

4. What is water baptism?

At Living Waters, we proudly baptise believers in water. Water baptism follows the Lord's example and the commandment of scripture. Baptism is not a requirement for salvation, but is rather evidence of it. The new believer is baptized in obedience to God’s command to do so, not as a prerequisite for salvation. We encourage you to be baptized if you haven't already.

5. Do you only preach from the King James Bible?

While there are churches that believe this is the only Bible a church should use; we do not. We use several translations of the Bible to make sure the Bible comes alive and makes sense to modern day hearers.

6. Are you part of a denomination?

Yes. We are affiliated with the New England District of the CCNA (Christian Churches of North America). However, our church is sovereign and autonomous. We are also linked as one church to our Norwood campus HOME church of Living Waters.

7. What is your stance on homosexuality?

The Bible is clear that homosexual acts are wrong. While it is not our business to judge those who do not believe in Christ, God holds all Christ-followers accountable to the truth of scripture. If you are looking for a church that will affirm the homosexual lifestyle we are not the church for you. You will hear our Pastors touch on almost any social issue from poverty to abortion to homosexuality.

8. How long are your services?

Sunday morning and Wednesday night services are usually 75 minutes or less. We promise you a boredom free environment with sight, sound, visuals, and just about anything necesssary to get God's Truth across to a changing world.

9. What does it take to become a member?

Each person interested in membership, must attend two membership classes (Time TBA) and sign our membership covenant. Fill out a membership form online here.

10. Does your church preach about money?

Of course, God is concerned about how you spend and use your money. We teach that everything belongs to God. We don't press the issue but we instruct those who attend to be faithful in tithes and offerings as God loves a cheerful giver.

11. Where can I get more information on your church?

The best way to find out more about our church is to come. What are you waiting for? Get the directions and we look forward to seeing you there on Sunday!
